annyeong haseyo! am really into anything bout Korea! be it the language, food, drama series (on top of the list!), anything! Shamelessly speaking, it's all driven by this Korean drama series called My Girl (wanted to give you the link but it's gonna be useless as it's all written in Korean characters hehe). For those of you who like to watch Korean drama series, this drama is a must see! Anyhow, there's no doubt that I've been wanting to learn Korean for years. Love those funny pronunciation & characters. Had a glance at this Korean-English pocket dictionary today, and oh la la....damn hard! I thought it's gonna be similar to Mandarin in terms of pronunciation, big NO! In fact, I think it's gonna be much more complicated if you had Mandarin background coz you'd always end up mistakenly say it in Mandarin way instead of Korean. beribet.Thank God, uni has Korean to offer. Though there's no way I'd end up speaking Korean fluently given only 3 months period of studying, but at least I'd be able to say some basic phrases without any ah-uh-oh *fingers crossed*. Kamsahamida!
